Tony Moody begins his third season as Head Softball Coach at Harris-Stowe. Moody served as Assistant Coach during the Hornets inaugral 2005 season. He was an integral part in the recruiting process that formed a competitive first-year program that had a winning record in The American Midwest Conference. Before joining the Hornets, Moody served as assistant coach at Forest Park Community College in St. Louis. While Moody was at Forest Park, the team captured the Region 16 championship four times (2000-2003). In 2003 they also won the district championship, set the school all-time wins record (39), achieved a #8 national ranking, and finished a school-record 9th in the nation. Moody's experience extends to the high school level as well. As head softball coach, he led Bishop Dubourg High School to seven consecutive conference championships (1995-2001). In that span Moody was named Coach of the Year twice and had a 52-4 conference record. He is a St. Louis native and still resides in St. Louis. |
